Afshan Paarlberg (IU Lilly Family School) Receives ABA NPO Committee Outstanding Academic Award
Committee Also Announces Vanguard, Lawyer, In-House Counsel, and Young Lawyer Awards
The American Bar Association’s Nonprofit Organizations Committee will present the 2026 Outstanding Nonprofit Lawyer Awards later this week at the Business Law Section’s fall meeting in Chicago.
The winner of the Outstanding Academic Award is Dr. Afshan Paarlberg, who is a lawyer and served for the past four years as a Research Scholar at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
The winners of the other awards are Celia Roady (Vanguard Award), David A. Levitt (Outstanding Lawyer Award), Ricardo Castro (Outstanding In-House Counsel Award), and Kevin M. Serafino (Outstanding Young Lawyer Award).
