Ben Leff’s NY Times Essay: “Allowing Churches to Endorse Politicians Can Be Perfectly Liberal”

One of the fun things about blogging is that you get to brag about colleagues, something I enjoy doing.  Especially when colleagues make arcane law accessible to and understandable by the average Joe and Jolene.  Ben Leff provides the  perfect opportunity with a Guest Essay in today’s New York Times.  The essay comes with the neat piece of artwork reproduced above.  I’ve gazed at the artwork for a little while now.  Football season hasn’t started so I have a little extra time still.  It’s a confessional doubling as a voting booth.  What a great teaching exhibit.  The brilliant artwork proves a picture really is worth a thousand words. And since I have a subscription, I get to share  Ben’s essay, no subscription required.  I thought about cutting and pasting a few paragraphs but I don’t think that would do the essay justice.  Click on the link instead.
