DAF Taxable Distribution Public Hearing Agenda and Comment Outlines

Today is day 1 of the public hearing on the proposed DAF regulations.  It started this morning at 10:00.  There are some familiar “wrench throwers” on the witness list. People like Alexander Reid, who is on record, as advising that the Service throw out the whole kit n caboodle and start all over.  He was speaking for TEGE Exempt Organizations Council.  Anyway, today is in person and tomorrow is telephonic only.  Here is the agenda and the full list of more than 40 witnesses.  You can peruse speaker outlines here.  I tried calling in to listen, but the phone in the room must be way in the back stuffed in a couch cushion because I couldn’t hardly hear anything.
