Olympics Charter

With the Olympics soon to start, it seemed interesting to check out the legal structure of the International Olympic Committee.  The IOC is organized “as international non-governmental not-for-profit organisation, of unlimited duration, in the form of an association with the status of a legal person, recognised by the Swiss Federal Council in accordance with an agreement entered into on November 1 2000.”  Sec 15 of the Charter.  The Charter, Bylaws and other governing documents are available online.  Cool.
