Lithuania – NGO Forum

The Baltic Sea NGO Forum 2010 is set to take place on April 16 – 17 in Vilnius, Lithuania.  According to the EuropeanCenter for Not-For-Profit Law, the forum will discuss strengthening civil society and democracy inthe region, empowering civil society actors to participate in decision making; and NGO operation with state institutions.  The forum will culminate in the drafting of aresolution to draw attention to the NGO sector and proposals for itsimprovement. This resolution will be presented at the 8th Summit of the BalticSea States which is due to take place June 1-2, 2010
